In order to help you successfully stake your $HEART tokens, we have put together the following tutorial, with detailed instructions:
2. Connect your MetaMask wallet, in which you have your $HEART tokens.
3. If you don’t have a MetaMask account, please create one now. Withdraw your $HEART tokens from the exchange where you are holding them using the ETH network by copying your MetaMask address into the withdrawal address designated space on the exchange.
4. Once your MetaMask is connected, if you hold a Humans.ai NFT, this will show up on the bottom-left side of the screen.
5. Go to the “My Wallet” tab in the sidebar, in order to deposit your $HEART tokens into the platform. Following this, hit the “Deposit” button in the top right corner.
6. In the pop-up screen, input the amount of $HEART tokens that you wish to Deposit and hit “Deposit” once more. This will prompt a MetaMask tab to pop up, which will ask for your approval of the token. This will also have a gas fee associated, so make sure you have the some ETH in your MetaMask account in order to cover the gas fees. Following this, a new MetaMask tab will pop up, which will now ask you to approve the transaction. This will also have an associated gas fee.
7. Once the transactions get processed, you will be prompted with a “deposit successful” message in the top right corner of your screen. Then, you will be taken back to the “My Wallet” section of the staking site. The transaction will initially show up as “pending” in the “Transaction History” section, but it should go through all of the approvals within a few minutes, marking it “Completed”.
8. Go back to the Dashboard tab from the sidebar in order to be able to see the amount you deposited. By scrolling down, you will be able to see the “View Prestake Options” button, which will open up all of the prestaking options. Alternatively, you can skip the first part of this step by going to the “Marketplace” tab of the sidebar, which will take you straight to step 9 below.
9. As previously announced, there are 3 different staking options: Flexible Prestaking, Fixed Prestaking with Unlocked Rewards (for 1 or 3 months), Fixed Prestaking with Locked Rewards (for 1 or 3 months).
10. Choose the desired option or options, hit the “Add Stakes” button which will open up a pop-up prompting you to input the desired amount you want to put up for staking. Once you have selected the desired amount, hit “Add Stakes” and you are good to go!
11. The amount you have staked will show up at the top of the chosen staking option. Please note that the minimum staking amount is 1,000 $HEART tokens. (This tutorial was done under the testnet circumstances, reason for which the amount staked is lower than the minimum amount.)
12. By going back to the Dashboard, you will be able to see both of the total prestake amount, as well as the total rewards accumulated up until any given point.
13. This step is only for NFT holders. If you own any Humans.ai NFT, you will have a special staking option show up at the bottom of the “View Prestake Options” tab, which will have a staking APR addition ranging in between 1–5%.
