Sabin Dima, CEO and Co-Founder of Humans.ai, was a keynote speaker at GITEX Global 2022, the world’s largest tech show that reunites advancing business, economy, society and culture through the sheer power of innovation, an event which took place in the heart of the Dubai World Trade Center. Sabin took the stage at the TDeFi Pavilion, where he showcased the technology developed by Humans.ai while also highlighting some of the milestones the company has achieved so far.
The Humans.ai CEO kicked off the presentation by talking about artificial intelligence, labelling this technology as “the greatest tool that we have ever built”, and carefully pointing out that leaving this technology unchecked can have dire consequences from an ethical and economic standpoint. To address the duality of artificial intelligence, Humans.ai has made it its mission to create an all-around ecosystem that promotes the development, deployment and monetization of ethical AI while making this technology available to anyone.
Without a doubt, Humans.ai has embarked on an uphill struggle, as AI still hasn’t departed entirely from its wild west stage, but Sabin confidently reassured the audience that he and his team are more than able to tackle this task by highlighting some of the young company’s achievement:
“We are a one of a kind company. We’ve raised 9 million dollars in a private sale. We have been named the AI startup of the year. We had the biggest IDO on Polkastarter last year, raising 1.2 million dollars in a couple of minutes, and there are more than 100 000 people in our community”.
Not one to mince words, Humans’ai’s CEO let the technology developed by his company speak for itself as he showcased:
· Diana, one of Humans.ai’s synthetic characters capable of speaking any language, requiring only a text input
· An AI that allows its user to speak with somebody else’s face in real-time
· An AI NFT able to make its user speak in other languages. Sabin showcased how his AI NFT enabled him to speak fluent Portuguese, although he doesn’t know the language
After showcasing the almost unlimited potential of AI, especially in the synthetic media generation area, the Humans.ai Co-Founder underlined the fact that for artificial to reach its full potential, it requires an underlying framework capable of supporting its development, deployment and governance.
“This great tool has the biggest problems — it’s very hard to manage, and it’s so data sensitive. There are no relationships between stakeholders, the data providers, the technology creators, the app builders, and it’s very hard to finance”, underlined Sabin.
Humans.ai has built its own blockchain tailored to meet the needs of every AI during its lifecycle
“We strongly believe that blockchain is the perfect medium for AI (…) The Humans Blockchain is a domain-specific chain that has the purpose to create the perfect technological framework for AI to create and be used. For that, we are using Cosmos technology. We are very welcomed by the Cosmos ecosystem. We are working with Tendermint, Cosmwasm, Osmosis and so on. As an innovation, we recognize AIs as NFTs. For example, Diana’s, my voice, or other people’s voices now live on the blockchain. More than that, we are creating an entire economy around each AI”, outlined Sabin while explaining why AI and blockchain are a perfect match.

Continuing on the topic of blockchain, the Humans.ai CEO briefly presented Talkens, a project that leverages artificial intelligence and blockchain technology to bring NFTs to life by animating and giving them the gift of speech. “Another example of AI NFTs that are on our blockchain right now is a project called Talkens. What we are saying is that we created billions of NFTs, but those NFTs are living in the silent movie era, so they are silent. What we are doing — we want to change the industry, and we want to do it forever by bringing NFTs to life. We managed to create a collection of 10 000 AI NFTs, so 10 000 unique voices. So, you can own a voice in the Web3.”
The Humans.ai Co-Founder also announced that the company has recently entered into a partnership which aims to stimulate innovation in the fields of AI and blockchain. The partnership with Hedera tackles the issue of interoperability in the blockchain space. Utilizing a concept called wrapped AI NFTs, the Humans.ai team plans to bring its technology into the Hedera ecosystem.
As the presentation drew towards its conclusion, the Humans.ai CEO unveiled the last card from his hand, Humans Scale, an AI Launchpad designed to help companies make a seamless transition from Web2 to Web3. Talking about Scale, Sabin pointed out that it is “the first AI launchpad in the world. Through Scale, we are helping Web2 companies to switch from Web2 to Web3. Basically, we can create an economy around each AI technology and we are providing an alternative of financing for them”. Scale has already onboarded its first project, Oveit, a world leader in NFT ticketing backed by Polygon Ventures and Crypto.com
